Grove of Dreams is a place where players may encounter Mythical Pokémon Jirachi. It has 3 huge trees — a regular Great Tree, a Water Tree and a Fire Tree, housing 3 Pokémon that are known as the "Elemental Monkeys".

Notable Events[]

Catching Jirachi[]

Underneath the rock wall behind the huge regular tree, there is a secret tunnel covered by some vines. Players can walk through it to find the fabled ancient ruins explorers in the area have been looking for, known as "Pedestal of Dreams". Interact with the tablet and it reads: "Under sky alight with stars shall the wish made upon the Pedestal of Dreams come true."

If players walk up to the Pedestal of Dreams overnight, stand in the middle and type "I wish for (Anything in 1 word)" in the chat box, a cut scene will happen and a battle will be initiated with a Level 25 Jirachi. Players only have one chance to catch it, so players are advised to save beforehand and turn off the Autosave function. As Jirachi is very hard to catch and only appears at night, it is recommended to postpone the catch until players reach Poké Ball Emporium, Anthian City - Shopping District to purchase a large amount of Dusk Balls.

Catching Elemental Monkeys[]

Before entering Grove of Dreams, put a Fire-type, Water-type or Grass-type Pokémon in the first slot of player's party. The corresponding Elemental Monkey has a 20% chance to appear under its respective Giant tree. Click on the Pokémon to start the battle. It is not necessary for the leading Pokémon to be purely Fire, Water or Grass, meaning that dual-type Pokémon can also trigger the encounters. If the Pokémon did not appear, rejoin the game or exit to Route 9 and enter again.

Notable Place[]

Mineshaft for Martensite Chamber[]

Registeelcave

The caved-in mine shaft with the eye pattern of Registeel above it behind the Tree of Fire.

Behind the Tree of Fire is a caved-in mineshaft with what appears to be Legendary Pokémon Registeel's eye pattern above it. Once the puzzles in Frostveil Catacombs are finished, the mineshaft is unlocked, allowing entry to Martensite Chamber.

Pokémon[]

Wild Pokémon[]

Note: Rarity levels are estimations according to this scale and might be subject to changes due to different encounter assessment results, unless supported by official encounter rates, which are listed in red under the rarity level if known. If there are any Pokémon with low catch rates, the possibility to flee or requirement of gaining happiness to evolve, recommended Poké Balls for that Pokémon will be shown with the corresponding bag sprite under the Pokémon's name.
